What We Do

Compel International is committed to planting Christ-centered churches among unreached communities. Our approach is strategic, sustainable, and rooted in empowering local believers.

HOW WE PLANT CHURCHES

  • Close-up of a map with colored pins marking locations in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and surrounding regions.

    1. IDENTIFY

We intentionally focus on unreached communities across Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Using careful research and local insights, we pinpoint regions with little or no access to the Gospel, prioritizing communities ready for transformation.

    2. PARTNER

We partner closely with indigenous leaders deeply rooted in their local cultures. These regional leaders mentor teams, facilitate culturally relevant ministry strategies, and oversee efforts in their respective regions, ensuring lasting local impact.

    3. TRAIN

We train local believers through proven methodologies, including Integrated Disciple-Making Movements (IDMM), Discovery Bible Studies (DBS) and Community Health Evangelism (CHE). Our transformational training equips believers spiritually, practically, and relationally, preparing them to transform their communities effectively.

    4. EMPOWER

We empower local believers and leaders to initiate sustainable transformation—spiritually, socially, and economically. Our approach ensures that communities become self-sufficient, with trained local leaders guiding lasting change.

    5. PLANT

We support equipped local believers as they plant Christ-centered churches. These indigenous-led churches reflect their cultural context, maintain biblical integrity, and serve as the spiritual and community hub within unreached regions.

    6. MULTIPLY

Our ultimate goal is multiplication—every church planted is equipped to plant additional churches. Through intentional discipleship and leadership training, churches grow organically and multiply, creating sustainable movements of spiritual renewal across entire regions.

WHAT WE TEACH

Integrated Disciple-Making Movement

Integrated Disciple Making Movement (IDMM) is a simple, reproducible model for making disciples who make disciples. Grounded in biblical obedience and personal discovery, IDMM equips believers to gather in small groups, share the Gospel, and live out their faith in everyday life. These groups naturally grow into churches that are indigenous, Christ-centered, and designed to multiply.

Community Health Evangelism

Community Health Evangelism (CHE) combines biblical truth with practical life skills to bring lasting transformation. Through CHE, believers are trained to address local health, education, and economic challenges while sharing the Gospel. It opens doors in hard-to-reach places by demonstrating Christ’s love in action and laying the foundation for sustainable discipleship and church planting.

Discovery Bible Study

Discovery Bible Study helps people engage directly with Scripture, hear from God, and apply His Word in their lives. Using a simple, question-based format, DBS empowers individuals and families—often in unreached areas—to become obedient followers of Jesus and begin discipling others. Many DBS groups become the first step toward new church communities.

Spoken

Spoken is a disciple-making tool designed for oral learners—those who learn best through hearing, speaking, and storytelling. Using Bible-based narratives and memory-driven discussion, Spoken equips believers to internalize Scripture, obey it, and share it with others. This method is especially effective in cultures with strong oral traditions, enabling church planting movements to grow where literacy may be low but spiritual hunger is high.

How you can be involved

Your partnership with Compel directly supports each step of this strategic process. Join us in:

  • Praying for unreached communities and indigenous coordinators.

  • Giving financially to equip and sustain church planting efforts.

  • Advocating within your church or community about the needs and opportunities among the unreached.

Together, we can plant the Church where it doesn’t exist.
